An urban adventure works differently.
This creates an experience in the city that combines structure with freedom.
ParaPoly was founded in 2015 as a classic escape room in Fürth, Germany. Under the name ParaPark, the company MaKi Escape GmbH became one of the early escape room providers in Germany.
But at some point, we realized:
One room is not enough – the entire city can be an escape room.
In 2018, the idea of a flexible urban adventure was born – no longer limited to four walls. Together with escape game mastermind and ParaPark creator Attila Gyurkovics, we developed the first game of its kind that can be played anytime – 24/7/365.
In 2019, the first ParaPoly track, “The Order of the Liberated,” launched in Nuremberg.
Today, ParaPoly operates with partners in multiple European cities – but Nuremberg remains one of the central locations of our story.
With ParaPoly, you become the main character of a real-life board game – and the city becomes the board.
